Service Department Our staff consists of highly trained bicycle mechanics with many years of experience and so that you are assured of the quality of our services. With every purchase of a bicycle from Decatur Bikes the original owner receives lifetime unlimited basic adjustments. We will clean your bike and do a thorough safety check. If more than a basic adjustment is needed we will give you the highest quality of service at the best possible price. Bike Fitting Standard bike fitting is $25-$100, lasts approximately 20 minutes, and fits you to the bicycle of your choice using a combination of standard bicycle geometry and rider preferences to find the most efficient and comfortable position. In addition, Decatur Bikes has a certified fitter on staff  utilizing Dan Empfield’s  F.I.S.T (Fit Institute Slow Twitch.. see www.slowtwitch.com) to establish the optimal position within the rider’s comfort zone. This session, by appointment, lasts approximately 90 minutes, and costs $100-$175.
